On October 28 and 29, the renowned desert runner Ali Wehbi will run along the Lebanese coast from North to South accompanied by International College (IC) students and friends, to help raise awareness and money for the children suffering from congenital heart disease through Brave Heart Fund.
The distance of approximately 240km will be covered in around 35 hours with short breaks of 20 minutes after every marathon (42km). The distance will be covered within 36 hours.
The Run itinerary is:
- ARIDA – ABDEH 15 km, coastal road
- ABDEH – TRIPOLI 15 km, main road
- TRIPOLI – CHEKKA 17,5 km, main road
- CHEKKA - BATROUN 15,5 km, coastal road
- BATROUN – BYBLOS 16.5km, coastal road
- BYBLOS – JOUNIEH 18 km, main road
- JOUNIEH - BEIRUT 22 km, coastal road
- BEIRUT – SAADIYAT 29k, Coastal road
- SAADIYAT – SAIDA 18k, Coastal road
- SAIDA – TYR 44k, Coastal road
