Ali Wehbi, a 41 year old Lebanese ultra-marathon runner, passionately trains 10 times a week. Although he began his love affair with running 23 years ago, it was not until he lost his mother to a battle with Cancer that Wehbi began to question his desires and lifestyle, and began his quest to become an elite athlete in the world’s most difficult races.

In 2007, he received a medal “Lebanese Order of Merit”, from the President.

Previous competitions and accomplishments

The first Arab ever to enter in the very private club of the 4 Deserts. ‎Until now, only eighty seven (87) individuals have successfully completed the 4 Deserts. 4 Deserts completed. 1000 kilometers in the hottest, coldest, windiest and driest deserts in the world. A journey unto self and a discovery of the human spirit.
