Kinda was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), which is a hole in the heart, and Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (PAPVR), a congenital disorder that causes abnormal blood flow from her lungs to her heart.  Kinda was due for heart surgery to repair her defects and needed urgent financial aid.

Her father is the sole provider for his family of 3 dependents. He works as a private driver with a limited income, half of which goes towards the family’s monthly rent, and with no health or additional benefits for support. 
Brave Heart was committed to helping Kinda but still needed to raise US$13,000 for her surgery.
